During the year of turmoil in Punjab, an Army officer falls in love with a local village girl. Their romance leads into a marriage in dramatic circumstances.

However due unfortunate incidents the girl dies after giving birth to a baby girl. Another woman who is desperate to become a mother steals the child. Form here the misery of the Army officer stars. Twist in the story sends him to a life imprisonment.
