- Bij de kiassieke Hindoestaanse CD’s, krijg je nog wel eens het gevoel dat ze alleen voor ne hardcore fans interessant zijn. Maar door het cross-overtijdperk waar we in even, worden alle culturen I toegankelijker. Zo ook de Bhangra. Met de heerlijke beats en kwaliteitsproductie hoor je niet eens dat er in een ‘vreemde’ taal gezongen wordt. Bhangra-hiphop - met een sample van Jay-Z’s ‘Can I Get A..’ - beleeft een hoogtepunt in ‘Nakhra Janab Da’. Urban Bhangra kan elke club in, iedereen gaat uit zijn dak.
